Between sea and country

DINAN

This medieval citadel lies at the back of the Rance estuary which opens up unto the Emerald Coast between Dinard and St.Malo.

Dinan still has plenty of ramparts, the oldest and most important in Bretagne.

We propose that you discover the town on a guided tour, which are on offer all year round and organised by the Board of Tourism.

Eglise Saint-Sauveur

Construction started in the 12th century and has subsequently undergone all the architectural influences: roman, gothic, classic and baroque.

The church has never been finished and remains asymmetric in outlook.
In 1954 it became a basilica.
